Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo, from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was produced at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. The father of Silk, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk played a role as a young actress in commercials. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. The early stage work she did included two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she was introduced to in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. The couple got engaged the year 2009 and wed in a civil ceremony in December of that year. After she had converted to Judaism the couple were married again in a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk's television work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Her most notable role was as Bo Dennis, a succubus and a succubus in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the finale of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special of 6 January 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple in 2013.
